For 'Win a Wedding Package 2016'

Thank you for your interest in entering our ‘Win a Wedding Package’ competition,
running from Monday 18th April 2016 to Friday 14th October 2016.

Please read the terms and conditions below.

Note that terms and conditions may change at any point during and after the competition.

Entering the Competition

  • The following terms and conditions will apply when entering the competition...
  • Only one entry per couple. Any additional entries detected will disqualify you from entry.
  • Entrants give permission for e-mail addresses to be used for marketing purposes.
  • Entrants must not have been barred from the Hotel at any point in the last 36 months.
  • Entrants must not be employed by the Hotel during the course of the competition.
  • The competition runs from 9am on 18-04-2016 to 5pm on 14-10-2016, with the winner announced at 1pm at the Wedding Fayre on Sunday 16th October 2016.
  • Management reserve the right to alter or cancel the competition at any time.

Winning the Competition
The following terms and conditions will apply to the couple who wins the competition...

  • The competition is for a Ballroom Package only and does not include any additional costs such as suppliers, entertainers, cakes, photographers or similar extras.
  • The Wedding Package includes a civil ceremony, but the couple who win are responsible for paying the registrars fees.
  • It is the responsibility of the couple to check what is and is not included in the package.
  • The winners will be offered a selection of dates in February, March, October and November 2017 to choose from.
  • If we cannot offer a date in these months, a different date may be offered in 2018.

  • Full cooperation of the couple is expected in planning the Wedding. If it is deemed the couple are not cooperating with our Wedding Planners in a timely manner, we reserve the right to cancel.
  • The winner will be announced on the day, picked randomly. The winner will be selected following the closure of the
  • competition using an unbiased electronic method. Each entrant will be allocated a number on our database, and a random
  • number generator will be used to pick the winning couple.
  • If the couple who win are not present on the day without prior notice, with a reason deemed valid, then an alternative
  • winner will be announced.
  • Photographs taken at the Wedding Fayre can be used for promotional purposes by
  • The Earl of Doncaster Hotel and Eastside Magazine.
  • The Ballroom package will be available with 40 guests for the Wedding Breakfast and 60 Guests for the Evening Reception.
  • Additional Guests can be added, maximum 80 in the day and 120 in the evening.

Following the competition

  • The following terms and conditions apply on the day and following the Wedding...
  • Eastside Magazine photographers will be present on the day of the Wedding to take photographs.
  • Photographs taken on the day of the Wedding can be used for promotional purposes by
  • The Earl of Doncaster Hotel and Eastside Magazine.
  • On the day of the Wedding we cannot be held responsible for external circumstances out of our control effecting the day itself.
  • The winners must be willing to communicate with Eastside Magazine when and as needed.
  • The winner gives consent for Eastside to run a feature on their Wedding Day.
