The Earl of Doncaster Hotel offers a central location just a short walk away from the town centre, making us a fitting choice for any conference or business meeting in the South Yorkshire region. We are under two miles from the outstandingly connected Doncaster Train Station, and less than seven miles from the Doncaster Sheffield Airport. Our position in Doncaster means we are close to a mass of corporate offices and industrial estates. What defines the Hotel as a corporate meeting place are the diverse art deco function suites, as well as our seventy three unique bedrooms.
The Ballroom, located on the first floor, is ideal for larger conferences. The room is 10.4 metres by 20.4 metres, and includes a built in stage ideal for presentations and guest key note speakers. The room can comfortably accommodate 300 theatre, 300 theatre with projection, 100 u-shape, 100 classroom, 100 classroom with projection, 100 dinner dance, 120 boardroom, 180 cabaret, 240 lunch or dinner, 250 reception, 100 horse shoe and 120 delegates in a hollow square style. This space is readily equipped with an LED spotlight system which can be programmed to your requirements.
On the ground floor sits the recently modernised Concorde Suite, offering a bright, open planned space with an abundance of natural light. The room can effortlessly accommodate 70 theatre, 70 theatre with projection, 35 u-shape, 40 classroom, 40 classroom with projection, 70 dinner dance, 40 boardroom, 60 cabaret, 70 lunch or dinner, 70 reception, 35 horse shoe and 40 delegates in a hollow square layout. In total the room is 10 metres by 9.5 metres. We are soon to install a state of the art interactive screen that will allow presentations and online conferences to take part in the suite.
Adjacent to the Ballroom is our smallest function space, the Ripon & Wetherby Suite. This traditionally decorated setting is suited for smaller, intimate conferences, but still offers a good measure of natural light and space as the Ripon & Wetherby Suite is 13.6 metres by 5.9 metres in total. The room is adequate for 60 theatre, 60 theatre with projection, 30 u-shape, 30 classroom, 30 classroom with projection, 70 dinner dance, 35 boardroom, 60 cabaret, 70 lunch or dinner, 70 reception, 30 horse shoe and 35 delegates in hollow square style. This room is also great for one to one meetings.
Lastly we have our public Lounge Bar, great for if you are looking for somewhere to meet a colleague for a quick catch up or if you need a space to send a few e-mails. The Hotel has good Wi-Fi throughout, and the Lounge Bar itself is open throughout the day.
