This Easter we are hosting an afternoon of family entertainment in our impressive Ballroom with an Alice in Wonderland Pantomime. This show will spring into life on Sunday 16th April 2017 at 3pm, and will be an excellent opportunity to spend time with family over the Bank Holiday.
The event is presented by the exceptionally comical TaleGate Theatre, who have hosted a number of engaging shows with us. This will be the first time that we have had a Pantomime outside of December, and we simply can’t wait.
The event will twist and turn through the magical scenes of the original Lewis Carroll story, and includes a variety of the mischievous characters. Expect to meet the unpredictable Mad Hatter, the enigmatic Cheshire Cat, as well as the courageous Alice herself. You can see more about TaleGate Theatre on their Facebook page here.
Tickets must be booked in at £9.50 per adult and £8.50 per child. To see more details on the Alice in Wonderland Pantomime, visit our event page here.
Over the Easter Weekend we are serving an Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea in the art deco Cafe Bar Concerto restaurant to keep in theme of the Pantomime. Due to its popularity, tables are now only available on Monday 17th April 2017. This limited edition serving consists of wonderful cakes, colourful scones, delicious finger sandwiches and a portion of ‘Drink Me’ potion.
Adult portions cost just £14.95 and children’s portions cost just £9.95 per person. Adult’s servings come with a pot of Taylor’s Tea or a cup of Illy Coffee, and children can choose from a variety of soft drinks available on the day. Have a look on our website here to find out more.
